A Democratic Congress, discharged by the voters on Nov. 2, has as one of its last official acts, imposed its San Francisco values on the armed forces of the United States.
“Don’t ask, don’t tell” is to be repealed. Open homosexuals are to be welcomed with open arms in all branches of the armed services.
Let us hope this works out better for the Marine Corps than it did for the Catholic Church.
Remarkable. The least respected of American institutions, Congress, with an approval rating of 13 percent, is imposing its cultural and moral values on the most respected of American institutions, the U.S. military.
Why are we undertaking this social experiment with the finest military on earth? Does justice demand it? Was there a national clamor for it?
No. It is being imposed from above by people, few of whom have ever served or seen combat, but all of whom are aware of the power of the homosexual rights lobby. This is a political payoff, at the expense of our military, to a militant minority inside the Democratic Party that is demanding this as the price of that special interest’s financial and political support.
Among the soldiers most opposed to bringing open homosexuals into the ranks are combat veterans, who warn that this will create grave problems of unit cohesion and morale.
One Marine commandant after another asked Congress to consider the issue from a single standpoint:
Will the admission of gay men into barracks at Pendleton and Parris Island enhance the fighting effectiveness of the Corps?
Common sense suggests that the opposite is the almost certain result.
Can anyone believe that mixing small-town and rural 18-, 19- and 20-year-old Christian kids, aspiring Marines, in with men sexually attracted to them is not going to cause hellish problems?
The Marines have been sacrificed by the Democratic Party and Barack Obama to the homosexual lobby, with the collusion of no fewer than eight Republican senators.
This is a victory in the culture war for the new morality of the social revolution of the 1960s and a defeat for traditional Judeo-Christian values. For only in secularist ideology is it an article of faith that all sexual relations are morally equal and that to declare homosexual acts immoral is bigotry.
But while this new morality may be orthodoxy among our elites in the academy, media, culture and the arts, Middle America has never signed on and still regards homosexuality as an aberrant lifestyle, both socially and spiritually ruinous.
To these folks, homosexuality is associated with a high incidence of disease, HIV/AIDS, early death, cultural decadence and civilizational decline. And no sensitivity training at Camp Lejeune is going to change that.
Behind these traditionalist beliefs lie the primary sources of moral authority for traditionalist America: the Old and New Testaments, Christian doctrine, natural law. Thomas Jefferson believed homosexuality should be treated with the same severity as rape.
And 31 consecutive defeats for same-sex marriage in state referenda testifies that Middle America sees the new morality as the artificial invention of pseudo-intellectuals to put a high gloss on a low lifestyle.
Not until recent decades have many in America or the West argued that homosexuality is natural and normal. As late as 1973, the American Psychiatric Association listed homosexuality as a mental disorder.
Today, anyone who agrees with that original APA assessment is himself or herself said to be afflicted with a mental disorder: homophobia.
The world has turned upside down. What was criminal vice in the 1950s — homosexuality and abortion — is not only constitutionally protected, but a mark of social progress.
Yet, just as busing for racial balance led to violence, white flight and the ruin of urban schools, this social experiment is not going to be without consequences. And it is the military that will endure those consequences.
Yet, again, if we believe our armed forces to be the best in the world, why are we doing this, against the advice of countless senior officers and NCOs? What is the motivation other than the payoff of a campaign debt?
What happens now to Evangelical Christian and conservative Catholic chaplains who preach that homosexuality is a sinful and shameful practice? Will they be severed from the service as homophobes?
That cannot be far behind when the Family Research Council, a respected organization of religious and social conservatives that has fought the homosexual agenda from same-sex marriage to gay adoptions, has now been declared by the Southern Poverty Law Center to be a “hate group.”
The advance of what was once a radical agenda has accelerated.
In 2004, John Kerry may have lost Ohio and the presidency because same-sex marriage was on the ballot in almost a dozen states, bringing out committed social conservatives to the polls. Six years later, the gay rights agenda is imposed by Congress and Obama on the 82nd and 101st.
Let the reader decide if the direction America is headed in is toward those “sunny uplands,” or straight downhill.

When Legislators Don't Legislate
Now, here we are at the end of this week. And I was talking to a friend yesterday, and I said, you know what, I think that if Obama wanted to dissolve the Congress and dissolve the Senate because they just weren’t getting the job done, and he needed more power to deal with BP, then he would just sign an executive order and send them all home, declare some kind of a rebellion or martial law or whatever, you people would take it. We’d take it.
That’s basically what happened yesterday. The Senate voted itself out of a job, decided that it does not have the plenary authority, the legislative authority to pass the laws that tell the EPA what it is supposed to do, and instead that EPA, which is not elected, does not have to answer to voters in any of the 50 states, doesn’t have anyone that has a nameplate, you can’t look them up on the Internet and start a complaint line or anything, that the Environmental Protection Agency is its own super legislature. You don’t think that if they can get away with this, that they couldn’t get away with just dissolving the Senate and the House and just going home and appointing Obama king? What are you going to do about it? What are you going to do about it?
I have the answer to that question. You’re not going to do anything about it. None of us are going to do anything about it. We’re going to sit out here, we’re going to play Scrabble with our friends, we’re going to cook hotdogs and hamburgers and go about our merry way and not worry about it any longer because, “Chris, Chris there’s nothing really we can do about it. We’re powerless.” I mean, this is really what it’s coming down to here.
Now, I know that there are elections in November, and a lot of people are pinning their hopes, thinking, “Oh, we’re going to get them back. We’re going to fix this thing. We’re going to – you wait and see, Mr. Church. Stop with your negativity.” Why don’t you call me up and give me something to be positive over, as it applies to our federal Leviathan out there. Because if it exists, I do not see it. Maybe my eyes are closed. That doesn’t mean that there isn’t good things happening outside of government because there always are. We are, after all, Americans. Well, we were when we woke up this morning. I don’t know how much longer that will hold true. But we shall press on.
Now, I have this story here. There’s 53 Senators that voted yesterday to allow the Environmental Protection Agency to – did you here Schumer? Well did you? Blah blah blah blah blah. Yes, 53 members of the United States Senate basically decided yesterday that they don’t care to actually cast votes on things that their constituents have sent them there to cast votes on, that it is not a worthy endeavor anymore. Well, we can just hand this off to an agency. Now, this has been one of the – how do I want to say this? – one of the causes célèbres that we have talked about here on this show for the last three years solid, which is the separation of powers and the enumeration of powers. Nowhere in the federal compact can you divine a power that would give any agency, no matter who created it or when it was created, the authority to regulate the air you exhale. Yet that is exactly what the EPA is going to do.
You have Democrats that are elected in states that produce coal, Robert Byrd from West Virginia being one, Bob Casey from Pennsylvania being another. What do you people in Pennsylvania produce? Do you have coal mines? Or did I read that wrong in the encyclopedia when I was a little boy? You remember how when you’re a little kid, you look at the encyclopedia of the states, and it would show you little icon symbols like the nondescript androgynous Olympic symbols for running, track, field, swimming and what have you? Well, they’d have the coal mine symbol in the western part of Pennsylvania; right? Don’t I have that right? There’s coal in Pennsylvania; right? Your senator, Bob Casey, threw you under the bus yesterday, backed it up, beep beep beep, and then put it in forward and ran you over again. How does this happen? What is produced when Pennsylvania coal is burned? What gas is produced? Carbon dioxide. What is produced when West Virginia coal is burned? Carbon dioxide. Does it matter? Nope.
So the Senate votes yesterday against the Murkowski resolution. What was the Murkowski resolution? That was from a senator from Alaska, Lisa Murkowski, who said that we have to stop the EPA from enforcing this endangerment finding that a Supreme Court said the EPA must enforce. You may recall in 2008 there was a lawsuit that was filed. It made its way all the way to the Supreme Court. In a five-to-four act of tyranny, five justices who will never face a reelection campaign decided that the Environmental Protection Agency must unilaterally act to protect Americans, using the Clean Air Act, from the horrors of carbon dioxide. In other words, from the horrors of what the person sitting next to you is exhaling right now. In other words, from the horrors – if you go outside, look at your lawn, look at a tree in your front yard – from the horrors of what your tree is eating, from the horrors of what the bushes are eating, from the horrors of what the pepper plants in my backyard are digesting. It’s called carbon dioxide.
And so the EPA has been rattling its saber, saying, yeah, we kind of like that Supreme Court ruling, even though it’s totally unconstitutional, even though we have no authority to write laws whatsoever. We’re just going to go ahead and do it anyways. And so now they have moved to do this. And the United States Senate could have reasserted its authority to pass these laws. It is the Congress’s job, if such a determination is to be made, that there should be regulation of carbon dioxide, and that you are a threat to the planet by your simple existence. Hell, think of it like this. Mammals, if you go through the fossil record, what, you have the rise and fall of the dinosaurs. And then after the dinosaurs get cleared out, what happens? It’s the rise of the mammals. Right? Mammals exhale carbon dioxide. I’m not breaking any news here. Maybe to the Senate I am. Maybe to Obama I am, who is ordering his EPA director, that little midget, that little tyrannical tinhorn dictator midget, Lisa Jackson, to start implementing these rules.
And so yesterday the Senate had a chance to vote to stop this, and they did not do so. This is why I bring this up with sadness. This is an absolute horrible day. I can scream and holler from now till the end of time. I don’t think it’ll matter. Most people are going to cook out this weekend, not going to worry about it. Most of your friends and neighbors don’t even know that it happened. And life will proceed. It’ll become more difficult for life to proceed. But as a great Virginian once wrote, once acts of tyranny and slavery are passed, and you kind of get used to them, you pass them on to the next generation, and the next generation doesn’t know that they’re slaves. And so they’re pretty happy with them. They don’t mind. That’s what’s happening in this republic today. So I ask you again, what are you going to do about it?
Answer: Not a G-damn thing.
But “Chris, we’re going to vote this November.” That’s just not good enough anymore. Like I say all the time, you’re not radical enough, and this country is not polorized enough for me!
Bankrupt Congress 12/20/09
Now, just think about these headlines as I read them to you:
New jobless claims rise unexpectedly.
House approves $290 billion increase in debt limit.
Obama signs $1.1 trillion spending bill.
House approves $155 billion for jobs.
Hillary: $100 billion global warming giveaway.
And then the CBS News headline: The federal government is currently in default. We owe more than we have borrowed to cover it.
Now, usually the first rule in situations like this is, first thing you’ve got to do to right the ship is to stop digging. Stop borrowing, dumbass. These people act as if there’s a mystery to this. There’s some mysterious formula out there that only mystics can see.that bill that Obama signed included a 10 percent across-the-board increase to all federal agencies.
Now, you can choose to be a nonbeliever and say this happens all the time. They’re not doing this on purpose. Why, this is just the way sausage is made.” This is a plan. And it has been executed with near precision. Why aren’t these state governors convening an emergency Article V convention right now? That’s what I want to know. Bobby Jindal, where are you? Why aren’t the state governors getting together and saying, if the federal government is borrowing all this money, where are they going to get it from? Oh, that’s right, they’re going to start taxing. They’re going to start telling states and what have you to start selling things.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is an intentional, I think, intentional bankruptcy or impending bankruptcy of the federal government. Remember Obama has run around the country and has boasted and bragged about his desire to remake America. Well, it’s happening. He’s actually doing it. And he’s doing it all under the cover of an
economic crisis that he’s there to solve. He’s not solving it.
Every time he opens his mouth his poll numbers go down.
Every time he says something he is proven wrong.
Now, I just happen to know because I was watching the Senate debate last year. Senator Tom Coburn introduced an amendment on the floor of the Senate, and it shocked the bejeezus belt off of Chrissy Hissy-Fit Dodd. He was talking about the amount of property that the federal government owns that is unoccupied. And what Coburn was saying was that, at the current time – The federal government owns in excess of 80,000 properties. Only less than 10,000 of them are occupied. Meaning there is a glut of some 70,000 properties.
What would it be, if you were getting ready to go bankrupt or couldn’t pay your bills, and you had all kind of properties that you owned, and you were looking for a way to pay your bills, what is one of the things that you might consider doing? Oh, I don’t know, Selling some of the properties, maybe? What would be the second thing you were doing if you were running a company and you were the CEO of it? Would you be giving pay raises out and hiring more people? Or would you, if you were a responsible steward of the federal government, if you were a responsible steward of the people’s purse, would you issue an immediate hiring freeze???
Would you then issue an immediate congressional order, and they can do this, suspending all, any and all federal hiring till further notice? Yes, you would. Would you issue an immediate edict ordering that there will be a review of all current federal government contracts that have not begun work and a permanent freeze until that review can be completed will be put on all those projects? “Why,yes, you would.”
Would you then order the Medicare board of trustees to begin the process of dismantling their operation and returning all their authority to the state governments for the state legislatures to administer and then begin downsizing the federal workforce that must be kept employed to enforce that? “Why yes, I would.” In order to start job creation, would you order your Environmental Protection Agency to cease issuance of all rules and to cease review of all rules currently under review? No new regulations. “Why,yes, I would.” Would you immediately order your department of [Occupational Safety and Health Administration] to cease issuance of all rules and all regulations, and any of those that are under consideration are permanently – the debate over those, comment period, is permanently ended? We’ll revisit this when our economy and our government can pay its bills and right itself. “Why,yes, I would.” Would you immediately, immediately begin the process of laying federal workers off through attrition? “Why, yes, I would.”
You would do all these things, and it wouldn’t fix the problem, but it would go a long way towards not having to borrow more money. I’m not even talking about dismantling all of Leviathan. I’m just talking about stopping the bleeding. The patient is dying, ladies and gentlemen. We are being ordered about by demagogues. They’re doing this with impunity. They have no intention of stopping. There’s still an orgy going on in Mordor on the Potomac. Now, I realize that it’s Christmas, and you want to spend time with your family, and you want to do family things.
Let me tell you, if you want to do something for your family, when your member of Congress or the United States Senate leaves Mordor on the Potomac to return home, you will be paying visits to their offices. You will be demanding that town halls be convened. And you will let them know that, if they dare return to Mordor on the Potomac and spend one dime of borrowed money, and you don’t care who it’s owed to, that you are going to convene
grand juries and prosecute them for criminal mischief, for fraud, abuse, violating their oath of office to the Constitution. I think these people should be treated as domestic enemies!

The American Socialist Party goals have been accomplished!
A new convention to amend the Constitution is needed. As Dr. Kevin Gutzman and Mike Church has said, the time has come to take the power our Founders left to us, seize the momentum of sentiment against Leviathan and repair the transgressions visited upon our Republics founding charter: The Constitution.
There are many folks who fear the Con Con because they irrationally believe it will be taken over by Pelosi and Obama and we will live under their Socialist redesign of the Constitution. Oooh shudder the though. There’s one problem with this fear, it has already happened.
Here’s the proof. The American Socialist Party wrote its goals down in the Party Platform of 1928. Every one of these goals has been accomplished including:
Nationalization of our Natural Resources - see the EPA and Interior Department.
A publicly owned power system- See the TVA and more recently the SMART Grid. (who knew the GE Scarecrow was a Socialist!?)
National Ownership of Railroads - See Amtrak
A system of unemployment insurance benefits - Hmmm, 7 million Socialists use that one as I speak
Securing to every worker a rest period of not less than 2 days per week
Increased taxation of high income levels - need I say more
A system of old age pension systems - See Social Insecurity.
A system of health insurance - see Medicare, Medicaid and SCHIP
All of these things have been passed by our Congress and been made a de facto part of our Constitution so let me ask the question: Exactly what part of our beloved Constitution is still in effect and stands as a bulwark against “Socialism”? The fact of the matter Ladies and Gentlemen si that we are currently living under Socialsim and yet Republicans still raise millions of dollars to protect their “conservative” constituents from “Socialized Medicine”.
If you want to follow our Founders, defend Liberty and the original Constitution then follow me America to the 2010 Constitutional Convention

If Americans needed another reminder of why the Democratic Party is absolutely worthless, they got it during last week’s Patriot Act extension debate when Senate Majority leader Harry Reid again behaved exactly like the Bush-era Republicans he once vigorously opposed. In 2005, Reid bragged to fellow Democrats, “We killed the Patriot Act.” Today, Reid says that anyone who opposes the Patriot Act might be responsible for the killing of Americans. Dick Cheney now hears an echo and Americans deserve congressional hearings—as to whether Harry Reid is a sociopath, mere liar, or both.
Universal Healthcare is SLAVERY
Supporters of Universal Healthcare want to impose an individual mandate on all working Americans. By doing this, they are sanctioning slavery on the American People. On 09/09/09, President Obama addressed the Congress and the nation, stating that individuals would be required to purchase healthcare. Anyone who does not will be fined up to $1,900, thrown in prison, and fined an additional $25,000. This is a perfect example of government tyranny, and is more properly termed, "fascism." In any program designed to help others, there is always an option to withdraw or not participate. A person who doesn’t want to buy auto insurance can opt not to drive a car. A person who doesn’t want house insurance can rent instead of buying a house. In the case of healthcare, a tax is placed on the right to LIFE itself. We should remember that even the slavemasters of old were interested in the healthiness of their slaves. A person who cannot opt out is not free—he or she is nothing but a slave. Socialist programs like Social Security, Medicare, and the Draft all result in slavery or involuntary servitude. Now is the time to uphold the 13th Amendment by defeating Unconstitutional Healthcare.
