Barack is going to ask you to sacrifice. No, they weren’t talking about that kind of sacrifice. They were talking about you sacrificing more of your income. By the by, if you didn’t make a Tea Party rally yesterday, I think we should stop calling these things “protests.” They’re not protests. They are affirmations of our liberties. That’s what they are. They are affirmations, and they are demand letters, in verbal form, from me, from you, and from everyone that goes to these events, that attends a weekly Tea Party meeting. They are demands that our leaders lead, and they lead by example, by taking their oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, take it seriously and literally till death do you part. They are demands that our liberties be respected. That’s what they are. They’re not protests. They are affirmations.

Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence, “When in the course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them to another.” Ladies and gentlemen, we have reached the point where many of you, and you are right to do so, desire to dissolve the political bands that have connected us to another. Because I am not paying for zero liability voters, as Wilkow calls them, anymore. I am not yo’ daddy. I am not yo’ baby’s daddy. You go find yo’ baby daddy, and you make him pay. Hey, I got a better idea. Stop making babies. Stop bringing children into a world without fathers. How about that? Why don’t we try that one on for a little while? Hmm? Just for fun maybe.

By the by, the person that said that freedom and liberty sound really good to almost all humans, and many people claim to be for liberty and freedom, they love the sound of the word, but for the actual process and the actual work of living free with your liberty, most people don’t care for it. So another constitutionalist rears their beautiful head out there somewhere across the amber waves of fuel. Well, I am not a proponent or a fan of the elected class showing up at these events in a sort of de facto – or performing a de facto commandeering of the people that are there for their own elections and what have you. I can only speak for myself.
I just think it’s shameless when politicians show up for the purpose to promote themselves. The reason we’re here is ‘cause you guys suck. The reason this Tea Party is being held is because of you. You want the stage? Go get your own stage.

Again, these people are not our friends on the other side of the aisle. We don’t have a political disagreement. This is not an argument over 39 percent tax rate versus 36 percent. This is an argument over whether or not we’re going to have the freedom that is our birthright to take that money and keep it as our own. Because it is ours, Mr. President. And it’s not just about taxes. I wasn’t there just complaining about taxes. As a matter of fact, I only heard taxes discussed about 10 percent of the time last night. People were complaining and were protesting their government for a redress of grievances about your healthcare monstrosity, about your EPA, about the things you’re doing to the trucking industry, and all the other stuff that you’re doing. And the things that President Bush did, the suspension of the Fourth Amendment under the so-called Patriot Act and what have you.

Let me try to explain why I am not doing cartwheels down the street like some of you people are, and I think foolishly doing cartwheels down the street.
Here’s why. Show me in American history, show it to me, call me up, send me an email, show me when the rise of the growth of government has been reversed. Show it to me. I want to see it. Show it to me. Regardless of whether or not Obama gets healthcare, and they will get some kind of healthcare, they have successfully expanded the federal budget by the tune or to the tune of a trillion and a half dollars. They’ve done it. They’ve passed the bills. The bills have been written. The funds have been borrowed. And next year, when it comes time to reauthorize those budgets, they’re going to use this baseline projecting garbage and go, “Well, we can’t start cutting people off. We made commitments to welfare people and Medicare and Medicaid. And the government has commitments. We’ve got to keep this level of spending. Now, we’ll try to slow it down.”

You watch. You mark my words. The Obamabot zombies, Dear Leader Chairman Maobama and all his Mao Tse-tung-loving buddies have succeeded in expanding the government by half. They have enlarged it 50 percent from where they got it. This is not going to be repealed. If you think that Republicans are going to go to the Congress in 2010 and start repealing entire Acts of Congress and axing agencies, you’re smoking something; please, pass it to me. There are a few that want to do it, but not nearly enough. Why? Because you people and your friends and your neighbors and your family members are drunk. You’re drunk on the welfare state. We Gave You Tarp Now We Own You

We had TARP. We had stimulus. We had bailouts. We had all this stuff, and it was all done for individual prosperity. It was not. It was done to destroy individual prosperity. The bailouts of the banks were specifically designed, we can now tell you, specifically designed to enslave the banks or ensnare the banks into a never-ending cycle where they can’t get out of it. Obama Dear Leader will own the banks. He will own the car companies. He will own them all unless all of them repay all of the money. I actually sat here today, ladies and gentlemen, and I heard Obama mouthpiece nut job Valerie Pinko Jarrett say that it doesn’t matter what conditions we loaned TARP money out of. The banks are all collectively responsible now for this. I sat here and listened to this, and I go, this isn’t happening, man. This is not happening.

Now, ladies and gentlemen, If you’re driving, pull over. If you’re standing, sit down. I’m giving you fair warning. You’re going to hear the woman that sits at the left hand of our Father – that’s Obama – the woman who sits at the left hand of our Father, who whispers sweet nothings of communism in his ear like she whispered to Van Jones, you’re going to hear her spill the beans. Spill the beans. Wall Street, the banks, everyone. We’re all in this together. Obama’s going to announce this today. All the bailout money. Why, if one bank does better than another, and another bank can’t pay the money back, well, then Bank B, regardless of what contract or what understanding they had of the bailout funds, must then basically tax their shareholders and give it to Bank A so that Bank A can pay its loan back. We’ll have some analogies of this. But I want you to hear it straight from the commie’s mouth.

[Clip] Valerie Jarrett: It’s not just as simple as Goldman Sachs paying back the money that was lent to Goldman.

Valerie Jarrett: The money that was lent to AIG benefited Goldman. So there’s a collective responsibility on behalf of all of the large financial institutions to pay the money back. The taxpayer should not have to suffer one penny of loss. and that’s what the President is committed to, and that’s what he’ll announce today. [End clip]

Oh it sounds so sweet and saccharine, right? oh, yeah, the taxpayers shouldn’t be on the hook for – no, no, we’re gonna – because she said “collective.” She said that this is a collective thing.

[Clip] Steve Doocy: I’m a little confused, though, by what you said. So if GM got $50 billion, but all the banks and the financial services companies wind up paying the fee and pay off the $50 billion, then would GM have to pay it off, pay it back?

Valerie Jarrett: GM is going to have to pay back whatever they’re able to pay back under the terms of their loan. We’re looking at this from the vantage point of the taxpayers. And what we’re saying is that every single penny of TARP money that was put out and lent out to the taxpayers is going to be paid back by the financial institutions. That’s what the law provides. If you go and look at the actual law that was passed, it says that the financial institutions will be responsible for paying back the TARP money, and they should honor that commitment. [End clip]

Now, folks, I will confess to you at this point in time, I’m as confused as you are...The only thing I got out of this is, A, collective; is, B, that somehow if General Motors can’t pay the money back that it borrowed, but Goldman Sachs made some fortunes this year, well, then, Goldman Sachs has to pay GM’s loan back? I’m sorry, I must have missed this. I must have missed this in all the bailout TARP discussion last year. I do not recall any discussion of America’s financial industry being a collective. I mean, what is this, the Borg? This the Wall Street Borg? You will be assimilated.

you cannot go after the fact and change the rules of contracts. That’s why they’re called contracts. This despite, and some of you will know this, despite the knowledge that many of us have that some of these institutions tried to not take the money. They were forced to take it by Henry Paulsen, Bush’s Treasury Secretary, and then by Tiny Tim Geithner. They were told, “No, no, you’re going to take it.” “I don’t – I don’t wanna.” “You’re going to take it. Shut up.” It’s like cod liver oil when you were a child.

So I’m going to listen to this with you one more time to try to get to the bottom of this. But from where I sit, the way I’m understanding this, and the way I understand what the President is going to say today, all financial institutions. Would this include, then, your community bank? Hmm? Would this be a way to reach out and get the rest of the banks that did not take bailouts, that may still be operating separately and privately? Maybe even, dare I say, profitably? Hmm? Would this be a way for the White House and for Barney Frank and the rest of these sinister people to stick their little tentacles into business that they don’t currently have it in, by claiming, oh no no, no no, no. When one institution accepted a loan, if I’m to understand this correctly, when one institution accepted a bailout loan, all of you collectively accepted responsibility for that loan. Does that sound like a moral hazard to you?

So, now the taxpayers are collectively on the hook for this??? So, now, this was sold as taxpayers benefiting collectively because this was going to save our economy. Right? Do I have that part of it right? I think I do. But now we’re going to go out, and we’re going to make pronouncements that, oh, no, no, well, what we meant to say was that you guys – so am I off the hook now? I mean, folks, you cannot have an economy, a free market economy that functions like this. Let me sum this up. Any financial company that does well is going to subsidize the failure of their competitors. Am I understanding this correctly??

Does the President of the United States have the authority to conscript every financial institution into some kind of involuntary servitude to assume the debts of their competitors simply because they’re in the same industrial class? I wonder if this applies to plumbers. Does this apply to all manufacturers, not just car companies? Well, if GMAC or GM took a bailout, doesn’t that mean that AC Delco got some benefit from it? Aren’t they on the hook, then, for GMAC or GM’s bailout? What about you people that work at the Dunlop Tire Company? You people that work at Firestone? Goodyear? Goodrich? General? Cooper? Michelin? Fatboy Tires? Aren’t you all getting benefit from General Motors and Chrysler being bailed out? Shouldn’t you, if you’re making a profit, then have some of it confiscated from you so that you can ostensibly pay back your big sugar daddy’s debt?

Bankrupt Congress 12/20/09

Now, just think about these headlines as I read them to you:
New jobless claims rise unexpectedly.
House approves $290 billion increase in debt limit.
Obama signs $1.1 trillion spending bill.
House approves $155 billion for jobs.
Hillary: $100 billion global warming giveaway.
And then the CBS News headline: The federal government is currently in default. We owe more than we have borrowed to cover it.

Now, usually the first rule in situations like this is, first thing you’ve got to do to right the ship is to stop digging. Stop borrowing, dumbass. These people act as if there’s a mystery to this. There’s some mysterious formula out there that only mystics can see.that bill that Obama signed included a 10 percent across-the-board increase to all federal agencies.
Now, you can choose to be a nonbeliever and say this happens all the time. They’re not doing this on purpose. Why, this is just the way sausage is made.” This is a plan. And it has been executed with near precision. Why aren’t these state governors convening an emergency Article V convention right now? That’s what I want to know. Bobby Jindal, where are you? Why aren’t the state governors getting together and saying, if the federal government is borrowing all this money, where are they going to get it from? Oh, that’s right, they’re going to start taxing. They’re going to start telling states and what have you to start selling things.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is an intentional, I think, intentional bankruptcy or impending bankruptcy of the federal government. Remember Obama has run around the country and has boasted and bragged about his desire to remake America. Well, it’s happening. He’s actually doing it. And he’s doing it all under the cover of an
economic crisis that he’s there to solve. He’s not solving it.
Every time he opens his mouth his poll numbers go down.
Every time he says something he is proven wrong.

Now, I just happen to know because I was watching the Senate debate last year. Senator Tom Coburn introduced an amendment on the floor of the Senate, and it shocked the bejeezus belt off of Chrissy Hissy-Fit Dodd. He was talking about the amount of property that the federal government owns that is unoccupied. And what Coburn was saying was that, at the current time – The federal government owns in excess of 80,000 properties. Only less than 10,000 of them are occupied. Meaning there is a glut of some 70,000 properties.

What would it be, if you were getting ready to go bankrupt or couldn’t pay your bills, and you had all kind of properties that you owned, and you were looking for a way to pay your bills, what is one of the things that you might consider doing? Oh, I don’t know, Selling some of the properties, maybe? What would be the second thing you were doing if you were running a company and you were the CEO of it? Would you be giving pay raises out and hiring more people? Or would you, if you were a responsible steward of the federal government, if you were a responsible steward of the people’s purse, would you issue an immediate hiring freeze???
Would you then issue an immediate congressional order, and they can do this, suspending all, any and all federal hiring till further notice? Yes, you would. Would you issue an immediate edict ordering that there will be a review of all current federal government contracts that have not begun work and a permanent freeze until that review can be completed will be put on all those projects? “Why,yes, you would.”
Would you then order the Medicare board of trustees to begin the process of dismantling their operation and returning all their authority to the state governments for the state legislatures to administer and then begin downsizing the federal workforce that must be kept employed to enforce that? “Why yes, I would.” In order to start job creation, would you order your Environmental Protection Agency to cease issuance of all rules and to cease review of all rules currently under review? No new regulations. “Why,yes, I would.” Would you immediately order your department of [Occupational Safety and Health Administration] to cease issuance of all rules and all regulations, and any of those that are under consideration are permanently – the debate over those, comment period, is permanently ended? We’ll revisit this when our economy and our government can pay its bills and right itself. “Why,yes, I would.” Would you immediately, immediately begin the process of laying federal workers off through attrition? “Why, yes, I would.”

You would do all these things, and it wouldn’t fix the problem, but it would go a long way towards not having to borrow more money. I’m not even talking about dismantling all of Leviathan. I’m just talking about stopping the bleeding. The patient is dying, ladies and gentlemen. We are being ordered about by demagogues. They’re doing this with impunity. They have no intention of stopping. There’s still an orgy going on in Mordor on the Potomac. Now, I realize that it’s Christmas, and you want to spend time with your family, and you want to do family things.
Let me tell you, if you want to do something for your family, when your member of Congress or the United States Senate leaves Mordor on the Potomac to return home, you will be paying visits to their offices. You will be demanding that town halls be convened. And you will let them know that, if they dare return to Mordor on the Potomac and spend one dime of borrowed money, and you don’t care who it’s owed to, that you are going to convene
grand juries and prosecute them for criminal mischief, for fraud, abuse, violating their oath of office to the Constitution. I think these people should be treated as domestic enemies!

I happen to agree with the basic principles of the GOP as I do not think that government should be invloved in every aspect of one's life. However, I am black and do not take kind to the radical racial references that are implied daily from the right and you cannot deny that they are being said. If you disagree, just take a look at the tea party footage which can be found on youtube.

I am very disappointed in POTUS and believe that he is in way over his head at the moment, but I respect the fact that he is a black man that became POTUS against all odds. I like to listen to the arguements on both sides as well as engaging in them from time to time, but the Hussein Obama and other rhetoric I believe is way out of bounds as his name is President Barack Hussein Obama. Once that type of talk starts, I tune out as well as most of middle America I believe. We can always agree to disagree but I will not stand by and allow certain things to be said without a rebuttal. I don't chose to respect anyone by the color of their skin or their gender. I choose to respect those that earn it. Just getting elected to an office isn't enough. The job has to be done to my satisfaction. And right now no job in the WH or congress is being done to my satisfaction. I don't know what 'against all odds' means. Those Who Need To Seek Protection Will Never Succeed

Welcome back to the plantation. Also known as the welfare state. Yeah, so let’s start making it easier by paying you to not work. Let’s start making it easier by paying you to not get married. Let’s start making it easier for you by paying you to have children that used to be called bastards and are illegitimate. Let’s start paying you to go to schools that you’re not going to learn anything you’re ever going to use. But we’ll pay you to go while you’re there for the four years. Let’s start doing all these things. And, that’s right. Well, the work ethic and the devotion to making yourself a better individual was thrown out the window in favor of what I just described here. And that’s what really has made this an unthinkable human tragedy. You know, you see these children all across the amber waves of fuel. You see these kids with no dad, no father.
And this is the other thing. “Oh, the President ought to do something about it.” No, the President shouldn’t do a damn thing about it. And the first thing that we ought to say, hey, before we start doing things, is it constitutional? Is this something that ought to be left to the states and to the local communities? And the idea here that we have this omnipotent, all-powerful President who must be consulted on all things that matter, no matter what they may be, is itself a symptom of the disease.
Robert Higgs has chronicled all this government largesse here, this massive monster known as, as I call it, Leviathan here, and how it must be dealt with and what have you here. And he’s asked the question, “Well, Higgs, what are we going to do about it?” And Higgs, says, “I wish I had a solution, but there isn’t a solution. There certainly isn’t one single magic bullet that will fix all this.” And on a daily basis we have these discussions. Now, we have suggestions for things that need to be done. Let me frame it to you like this. Think of it like this, and think of what’s happening today with unemployment 10.2 percent and the estimated number of people without a job standing now at 16 million souls. Let me ask you a question. How is it possible that we can reemploy 16 million people without a fundamental shift in the way we are currently doing business? Hmm? Explain it to me. And don’t tell me, Mr President,“Oh, we’re going to have green energy jobs...We’re going to build new highways.” You really think 16 million people want to go off and build a highway or a windmill? And how long is that going to last, after we find out that windmills don’t work as advertised, are exorbitantly cost prohibitive and don’t yield the results that they’re advertised to yield? What are you going to do then? So explain to me, geniuses out there, how in God’s holy name are we going to reemploy 16 million unemployed souls?

There is only one mechanism that I know of on the face of the earth that is possible. And don’t tell me, “Oh, yeah, we can give them all government jobs, 16 million people, new ones working for the government.” That takes 16 million people out of the productive sector, meaning that about 30 million people need to then work to support those 16 million people because there’s launderers of the money paid to the 16 million that would work for the government. So that’s not an option. So what then is possibly the option to employ those 16 million people? Ladies and gentlemen, we can discuss this ad nauseam. You can float your theories on economics all you want. There is only one mechanism in the history of humankind that could possibly employ – and it’s not a war, either – 16 million people. What is it? Liberty. Disband the apparatus that is suffocating the 16 million unemployed.
Let me ask you that are out there that are among the 16 million unemployed: Would you rather have free and open, honest, hard work competition to try and get a job, make the best product, be the best welder, be the best craftsman, be the best salesman, be the best baker, candlestick maker, would you rather have that, or would you rather stick with this monster that has been created to protect you from racism and to protect you from sexism and to protect you from minoritism and to protect you from illegal aliens who have to have a fair shake, too? Would you rather take your shot with Leviathan, which is producing the results all around you? Or would you rather take your shot with your founders? Would you rather take your shot with the Jacobins, as they’re known? Would you rather take your shot with the Jeffersons? And I don’t mean William, movin’ on up. Choose.
Some of you fools are going to, “No, I want to be protected from racism.” All right, well, then, you’re not going to find a job. Go sit down over there. “Mr. Reader, I want to be protected from sexism.” Well, you’re not going to find a job either. Go sit down over there. “Mr. Reader, I want to be protected from people who discriminate against Muslims.” Yeah, well, go sit down over there. You’re not going to find a job, either. “I want to be protected from not being able to work an eight-hour day because I have other things to do.” Well, then, go sit down over there. You’re not going to find a job, either.
Again, this is all going to end in tears. In tears. The only mechanism that exists on earth that can fix this problem that is growing as I speak is liberty. It is the pursuit, your pursuit, of being the best that you could be and competing with those who may not be as good as you at being that best. It is the unshackling and the deregulation of all these wonderful, God-given natural resources that we are so blessed with on this northern part of the American continent. That’s it. It’s not hard to figure out. If government and if the monopolists and the corporatists are fired, eliminated, gotten out of the way, then and only then – and I’m not talking about installing dictators. I’m not talking about Cuban Castro revolutions or Mao great leap forwards where it’s all planned. I’m talking about the opposite. I’m talking about dismantling that which is holding progress back. That means that that federal judge, or whoever it was that decided that that stupid fish needs to be protected in the San Joaquin Valley, that stupid little delta smelt, that that judge is recalled by the people, his order is taken back to the state legislature, it is overturned, and that water is used to promote human happiness. Screw the stupid fish. If it dies, so what. Eat it. Can the sumbitch and ship it to China. And unless you do that, you and I are going to be sitting here for years talking about this. That’s if you can still afford a laptop, desktop, newspaper, or a radio....
This has all conspired and accrued over the growth of our governments. Your states are suffering. All of your states are suffering. And the reason they’re suffering is because they got too big. They took too many people out of the productive sector and put them into being nonproductive, into micromanaging other people’s affairs and doing things that private people, citizens, individuals and communities ought to be doing. And if you’re not willing to erase that – “No, I want my unemployment extension benefit” – well, then, you’re probably not going to find a job. Go ahead and sit out there and wait for a Fortune 500 to come along and save your life.

What's next from this marxist administration and the kenyan who would be king???

A friend who works at a car dealership recently told me about the “Cash for Clunkers” program at his dealership. Whether a vehicle is worth $100 or $4,000, the government will give you $4,500. They then are required to take what are often fully functional cars and trucks, drain the oil and transmission fluid, and effectively kill the engine, on the lot, so it cannot be reused. The car is then sent to the salvage yard where it is crushed. The dealer cannot save the doors, bumpers, stereo, seats, cattle guards (a common accessory in Texas), or even the tires. The government requires the entire vehicle be completely destroyed.

I cannot imagine a more wasteful program, but when the government becomes an owner of a car company, and must find a way to increase sales, I’m not the least bit surprised that they would come up with such a ridiculous solution. Let's tax working Americans and give their hard earned dollars to people who have functioning cars, enticing them to buy a new, more expensive car they probably cannot afford. Didn’t we just try something like this with houses?

I bought a ’70 AMC Pacer for $600 when I was in high school. That was how much I had saved and all I could afford. The monthly payment on a brand new car, much less the insurance, was beyond my means. The car let me drive to work until I saved enough money to buy a nicer used car. I eventually worked my way up to a Ford Torino, and then a brand new Chevy Camero. It took years, but I learned a lot about working and saving. What kind of message is our government sending when it takes tax dollars from hard working Americans and then pays someone else two or ten times what their vehicle is worth to buy a car they probably cannot afford? The recipient doesn’t even need to be in our country legally. To make matters worse, the government then destroys these functioning vehicles. No effort is made to use any of the parts or recoup any of the value.

Today, despite an $11 trillion deficit and unemployment approaching 10%, our government decides to destroy cars nearing the end of their life but still worth $4,500.

That is sheer lunacy. Would I be wrong to consider possible similarities between a government run automobile industry and a government run health care system? American car companies are in trouble. Despite tens of billions of dollars in government handouts, they still face major structural problems. The government’s solution: destroy aging "products" that are worn down and nearing the end of their useful life. Will that theme be applied by this out-of-control government to fix health care when they realize we have a capacity problem? I certainly hope the people running the car industry don’t become the leaders of the soon-to-be nationalized Health Care System.

But, don’t for one second believe this is a problem limited to the Democratic Party. Remember that it was the Republicans who tried to buy votes with their pharmaceutical bill in 2003. Then Representative Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill) complained in a Washington Post article the bill would be much more expensive than then President Bush claimed, and he was right. The projected cost had already doubled by 2006. Now, the roles are reversed. The Democrats are pushing for more government health care, and the Republicans are crying the cost will be significantly higher than what is being touted. No kidding.

Politicians and the parties are playing a terrible game, amassing horrendous deficits that are certain to destroy our country. Each party makes a promise even more outrageous than the one the other party just made in an effort to buy power. They are printing money and using it to buy votes. What will they try to "retire" next?

We all see what is happening. We know the emperor has no clothes. But will enough Americans care to do something about it?

Our plan to retake control of our government continues to grow at an accelerating rate. Grass root organizations are sprouting up all over, people are starting to take notice! But, we must do more. You, personally, must do more. We need every person in America to know that there is a solution. You need to not only contact every person you know (again), but reach out to new groups.
